Dear Neighbour, Brisbane City Council wants to change the zoning in our street to allow medium density development. The above photo shows what the Council approves as 3 storey developments. Our street will look like this unless we all make a submission on the Nathan, Salisbury, Moorooka Neighbourhood Plan draft strategy by emailing the Brisbane City Council objecting to this change, before this coming Monday 12 July 2021, by emailing Neighbourhood_planning@brisbane.qld.gov.au
The changes in zoning throughout Moorooka to allow higher density development will remove protections for character tin and timber homes, increase traffic, create parking problems and other negative community impacts. Please tell the Council not to increase the zoning in our neighbourhood.
